I would buy up Roblox and become the new CEO there. I would make a lot of changes to make it a more comfortable and yet safe place to make games and play games.
1st I would change the entire moderation system to an online jury trial-based system. Every person accused of violating Roblox rules would be subject to a fair jury trial if they request and can present evidence and arguments in their defense while the moderation presents their evidence and arguments. Every juror has to believe the Roblox user is guilty of a rule violation for the charge to stick and the Roblox account punished. If at least one juror has doubted a rule was violated then the rule violation will be thrown out, and the rule violation accusation will not be used against the accused in any future violations’ accusation. I also would end enforcement bans as it has done nothing but cause harm to so many innocent people. Also, only people who are over 18 years of age can be a juror in an online jury trial of Roblox users. This would make moderation more efficient with jury trials. Creates a protection against abusive moderation practices.
2nd I would end the chat age restrictions as it doesn’t really protect children and is nothing more than a big gigantic digital police state being used to train everybody to accept being treated as a suspect of a crime. There are better ways to protect children such as messages retention and reporting those to law enforcement when an adult is trying to do something inappropriate with a minor. There are a lot better ways to protect children than a draconian chat restriction system based on age groups. Another method is mandatory quick education courses for minors on how to stay safe. Another option is that the parent has direct control of their kids Roblox accounts until they are old enough to become their own Roblox account.
3rd is that I would lower the price of Headless horseman to 1,000 robux and allow fake headless on the marketplace so that Roblox doesn’t violate the anti-trust laws.
4th is that I would bring back classic faces and allow new classic faces to be created and have dynamic faces.
5th is that I would conduct an investigation internally into the Roblox operations and see if anything was going on which wasn’t right, like investigate whether there were any conspiracies going on within Roblox to exacerbate the problem, to justify more and more crackdowns on Roblox users.
6th is that I will make the senseless killing games rated mature and any games with violence but have moral story lines will be allowed to be played by younger kids because the moral story lines teaches them right from wrong.
7th is that I will allow freedom of speech and freedom of press on Roblox, as well as freedom of religion. I would end the senseless tagging/censorship of normal conversations and only tag/censor cuss words. I would have Roblox moderation only tag/censor pornographic words, the sexual words would be censored. Normal conversations will no longer have tagging/censorship. The censorship will go back to only words in a list. When a word is found which needs to be censored, only that word will be censored/tagged but the entire sentence will remain uncensored except for the censored word.
I would improve Roblox if I were the CEO. If I won the lottery than I would buy up Roblox to take control of their corporation and fix their corrupt mistakes which David Baszucki keeps making.
